Evidence
Elizabeth (Gournay) Crowe of East Bilney, sister of the West Barsham heir, married before 20 Dec 1636
Muskett's Suffolk Manorial Families prints a Crowe-of-East-Bilney pedigree naming a Gurney daughter no Gurney source recorded: "Bozoune Crowe, of E. Bilney; mar. before 20 Dec. 1636 = Elizabeth, dau. of Thomas, sister of Edward Gournay, of West Barsham, Esq." Elizabeth was therefore a daughter of Thomas Gurney III and Martha Lewkenor and a sister of the West Barsham heir Edward. East Bilney lies in Launditch hundred, about five miles from East Dereham.
Date: before 20 December 1636
