Grants sat inside an Aylesbury-Vale Bucks neighbour cluster (reception)
John Gurney's East and Mill Field neighbours formed a coherent Aylesbury-Vale Buckinghamshire settler cluster - Robert Randall of Wendover, William Brandon of Ashton Clinton, and the Hunt/Humphrey families of Lee, whose Buckinghamshire origins are sworn in a 1688 Weymouth deposition (Massachusetts State Archives 129:16) - so his grants mark him as a newcomer received into an established, regionally-clustered Weymouth neighbourhood. The bearing of this cluster on John's own English origin is developed in the immigration-by-association topic, not here.
